Why am i losing soooo slow?

So i been getting kind of upset about how my weight loss has been stagnant! idk why i feel like its going soooo slow!!! Ive been working out hard and eating good choices yet i feel like i should be losing more weight! idk... but i realized i lost 5% of my original starting weight which was one of my goals so i accomplished that!! Also, i feel like i been more tempted to cheat but haven't actually gone through with it... and don't plan on it! I keep comparing my weight loss to the last time and thinking how i was losing much faster and i just don't get it! but i need to just think of the positives and not the negatives.... at least I'm losing weight and getting farther away from 300lbs instead of closer or even pass it! I been also having trouble getting enough liquids in every day... any suggestions?

  1. Are you logging your food and exercise? You should be keeping a journal. I find that knowing exactly what I was eating everyday was a big eye opener. Sometimes we forget about the "taste" of something we had, or the piece of chocolate a friend gave us. It all adds up. I'm less likely to eat something I know I shouldn't if I have to write it down. Good job on the goals you have reached thus far:)

  2. I keep a water bottle with me at ALL times and it reminds me to get my water in. Plus its a constant reminder of how much more water I need to drink. Also before every meal, I drink a huge glass of water and that definitely helps (and makes you feel more full!) Add some lemons or limes or even fruit if you get bored with plain water.

  3. I sip water all day long. Got a 20 oz cup with a straw...helps me drink it faster and it's always with me. As for losing slowly... so you lost quickly in the past. So had I. We didn't keep it off. This time, those pounds are gone for good. Losing slowly is better than not losing at all.

  4. thanks girls! yeah i used to have a huge water bottle that (it held 8 cups of water) i carried with me everywhere which seemed to help too! An yeah i def did gain the weight back last time and i gained it fast lol!
